Notes from the HOA President – June

Dear Neighbors,

At Huntington Woods, we’re more than a collection of homes—we’re a community of families, friends, and neighbors committed to creating a place that is safe, welcoming, and highly valued. Your HOA Board takes this responsibility seriously, and we know the only way to succeed is together. Here is how you can assist the Board in achieving our priorities.

1. Managing Our Budget Wisely

Every dollar matters. From lawn care to lighting, budgeting helps us keep our neighborhood beautiful and our property values strong. How you can help: Pay your dues on time, review the budget updates, and ask questions if you’re unsure. Transparency is our priority—we want you to understand how your money is spent.

2. Keeping Our Community Looking Its Best

Our covenants help us maintain a beautiful and orderly environment. We know enforcement isn’t always fun— but it is essential. How you can help: Honor the guidelines and be open if we reach out about a concern. If you see something out of place, let us know respectfully. We’re all in this together.

3. Handling Disagreements with Respect

Disagreements happen—but how we handle them shows what kind of community we are. How you can help: If a concern arises, let’s talk—not argue. Reach out to your board with respect, or speak directly to your neighbor with grace. Huntington Woods deserves peace.

4. Communicating Clearly and Often

We want every resident to feel informed and involved. You deserve to know what’s happening in your community. How you can help: Read the newsletters, check your email, and join our meetings when possible. And if you’ve got ideas —we want to hear them!

5. Supporting Our Volunteer Leaders

Your board members are your neighbors— volunteering time, skills, and heart to serve. How you can help: Offer encouragement, ask questions, and maybe even join us! Committees, events, and leadership positions are great ways to use your gifts.

A Final Word

Huntington Woods is more than just where we live—it’s where we grow, gather, and invest in one another. Thank you for being the kind of neighbor who makes our community stronger. When we all lean in—even a little—the results are remarkable.

With appreciation, Steve Clark President
