Notes from the HOA President – September

Dear Neighbors,

I want to take a moment to talk about something that matters more than most of us realize: the people who run our community.

Our HOA board is made up entirely of volunteers — neighbors just like you who give their evenings and week-ends to keep our community running smoothly. We review budgets, maintain common areas, enforce guidelines fairly, plan community events, and make the countless small decisions that keep our neighborhood a place we’re proud to call home. None of it happens automatically, and none of it happens without people willing to step up.

Right now, we have openings on the board, and we need your help filling them.

Here’s the truth: a board with too few active members gets stretched thin. Decisions slow down. Projects get delayed. And the handful of people carrying the load start to burn out. A strong, fully-staffed board means better decisions, fresh perspectives, and a community that reflects the needs of everyone who lives here — not just a few.

You don’t need special expertise to serve. You need to care about where you live and be willing to show up. Whether you have two hours a month or ten, whether your strength is budgets, communication, landscaping, or simply asking good questions, there’s a role where you can make a real difference.

Interested, or just curious what it involves? Reach out to any current board member or attend our next com-munity meeting. We’d love to talk with you about what serving looks like and answer any questions, no commit-ment required.

This community is only as strong as the people willing to help run it. Let’s keep it strong together.

Thank you for considering it,

Sabina Hardy, HOA President
