Notes From the Board

ARCHITECTURE
Work has been limited on buildings in our community the past three years, primarily due to lack of availability of contractors. Having such a backlog is going to require extra monies to get the work done. This need lends it self to considering an assessment.
Larry Miller, Architecture Chair

LANDSCAPING
Landscapers have done the prep for fall aerating and grass seeding. We are having a dry spell since the planting, so you may want to water your lawn so the grass seed will get a good start.
Leaf time – most leaves will be picked up with mowers and placed in piles for the city to pick up. Please do not put other yard waste in these piles, sticks, plants from flower beds, etc. Put sticks in a separate pile at dumpster areas. Put pots with dead flowers in a dumpsters and all waste from flower beds in a dumpster or in a clear plastic bag and place at a dumpster.
Kaye Owenby, Landscaping Chair

POOL
After almost five months our pool season is about to end. It was a pleasure to see so many people enjoying our pool this summer. Unfortunately, the temperatures at night are now cooling down and this makes the water temperature more and more uncomfortable. On top of this, the cleaning effort is becoming significant with
leaves falling off the trees. In the week starting September 25, the pool will close. Once = the pool is closed the winter lock will be installed. If you have left any belongings in the pool area, please contact Jakob Dreisbach, 828-485-8016, or Davis Bryant 828-244-3524 to open up so you can pick it up.
