Notes from the Board

LANDSCAPING
Our HOA Board voted to increase the landscaping budget for 2025 in order to continue to address the landscaping needs of our community.

We are currently working on a plan to have our gutters cleaned out more frequently throughout the year to help with clogging and water flowing over.

We also have a plan in the works to have our many leaves removed more frequently in the fall instead of them piling up and sitting for weeks and weeks in our common areas.
Our landscapers usually start replenishing the pine needles and mulch in the late winter or the very early spring. Those areas include pine needles in the front of units and mulch in common areas.

Please continue to submit landscaping needs or requests in writing so that our HOA Board can discuss them at our monthly meetings.

Thank you!

We appreciate the work of our retiring Board members, Barbara Laney, HOA Secretary, and Susan Blizzard, Insurance Chair.
Thank you for your support of our community!

Are you guilty of speeding?

Speeding in our community is dangerous for residents (especially oldsters & children). Our streets are not city sreeets, they are private streets that are owned by the HW community. Our speed limit to protect each other is 16MPH. Speeders may force our HOA to put in speed bumps.

Notes from the HOA President – February

Looking Forward to a Great New Year!
As we step into a promising new year, the Board of Huntington Woods Homeowners Association is filled with enthusiasm and optimism. Our community continues to thrive, and we are excited about the future as we work together to maintain and enhance the beautiful environment, we all call home.

One of our primary goals for this year is to continue the renovations of our units. These improvements not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of our homes but also ensure that our community remains a welcoming, secure, and highly valued place to live. We are committed to preserving the quality and charm of Huntington Woods, making it a desirable location for both current residents and new families moving in.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Board for all their hard work and dedication throughout 2024. Their efforts have been instrumental in driving our community forward and ensuring that Huntington Woods remains a wonderful place to live. Special thanks to our new Board members, Sabina Hardy, Lori Morrow, and Sara Winebarger, for stepping up and contributing their time and talents. I am confident that their fresh perspectives and enthusiasm will bring new energy to our initiatives.

As our community grows, we have many new folks moving into Huntington Woods. We encourage all residents to take the time to welcome these new neighbors and make them feel at home. A warm greeting and a friendly smile can go a long way in fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Together, we will continue to make Huntington Woods a place we are all proud to call home. Here’s to a great new year filled with progress, camaraderie, and the preservation of our cherished community values.
