Notes From the HOA President – April 2023

Hello Neighbors,

I hear so many positive comments about this special community that we live in and I agree with them. It is a great community and we can keep it that way, and even make it better, if we all pitch in and help. As you know, our board is made up of your neighbors who have volunteered to work for you and we can do an even better job with your help. Several of our committees need your volunteer support. Please review our list of board committees and contact the chair of your committee of interest to volunteer.
As the weather is warming, we see more people out walking, please be mindful of the speed limit and also advise any guests about it. Walkers have the right of way and many times it is difficult for walkers to hear oncoming cars and know they are near.
Speeding cars, including those coming from outside of our community, are of great safety concern. Because of this, the HOA Board has entertained the idea of placing several speed bumps to slow speeders.
We have the good fortune to live in a safe neighbor-hood, but when going out of town it is always a good idea to tell your neighbors that you will be gone. Getting to know your neighbors and keeping in touch with them is our best community safety policing tool for looking out for each other.
